Perishable Care Instructions
Kate Weiser Chocolates are made with fresh ingredients which means that our chocolates are perishable and should be enjoyed as close to the date of purchase as possible. Please reference the best by date sticker on the bottom of the box. We always recommend enjoying your chocolates as soon as you receive them.
Some of our other specialty items have a longer shelf life. Please reference the sticker on each item in your shipment for exact best by dates.
While recommended, refrigeration is not required and storing at ambient temperature will not compromise the integrity of your beautiful bonbons.
If you would prefer to refrigerate your box, the flavor seal wrap protects the chocolate and ensures optimal flavor in each bite. Before breaking the seal, allow the truffles to come to room temperature. Place any remaining chocolates in the refrigerator wrapped in a new layer of plastic wrap or in a cool, dry place (approximately 65 degrees Fahrenheit).
If you’d like to save your bonbons for consumption on a future date you may freeze them for up to 12 weeks. DO NOT break the secure wrap that the bonbons arrived in. When ready to enjoy, thaw your bonbons gradually (about 5-6 hours) in the refrigerator and then move them to room temperature for at least 3 hours BEFORE breaking the sealed wrap. Chocolates are best enjoyed at room temperature so you can taste all the deliciousness!
